About Arkansas NAHRO
The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) is the leading housing and community development advocate for the provision of adequate and affordable housing and strong, viable communities for all Americans—particularly those with low- and moderate-incomes. The NAHRO – Arkansas Chapter administers Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs such as Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, CDBG and HOME.
For more than 75 years, NAHRO has garnered an exceptional level of respect, authority, and influence, providing its members with the means to change mindsets, cityscapes, and lives. NAHRO has fought to secure needed housing and community development programs and has represented the concerns of its members effectively. Today, NAHRO continues to champion the needs of all people—to be adequately housed and for their right to live in decent neighborhoods in thriving cities and towns.
